Hundreds of Joint Personnel Sent to Clean Kampung Melayu

As many as 800 joint personnel and 400 officers of army and police are sent to conduct a cleanup action in RW 06, 07 and 08, Kampung Melayu Urban Village, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, on Sunday (2/5). To optimize it, heavy equipments such as dump truck and shovel also have been sent to the location.

It has been conducted since 6.30 AM and is focused on cleaning mud, transporting debris left by flooding and distributing aid.

In this activity, there are seen East Jakarta Vice Mayor Uus Kuswanti; Jakarta BPBD Head Suberjo; Jakarta Satpol PP Head Arifin; Social Agency Head Irmansyah; Transportation Agency Head Syafrin Liputo; Health Agency Head Widyastuti; Bina Marga Agency Head Hari Nugroho and Communication, Informatic and Statistic Head Atika Nur Rahmania.

"I hope that the flood victims can recover soon and have their normal activities," hoped East Jakarta Vice Mayor, Uus Kuswanto,

After this activity is done, disinfectant spraying to prevent post-flood disease will be carried out.

"We will continue until the afternoon. Hopefully all the activities done today will ease the flood victims' burden," he closed.
